My Answers from my questions.

Civil engineering is a discipline that studies structures (buildings, dams, bridges and airports).

They need concrete, steel, water, gravels, cement, sand, soil.

The foundation must be deeper, bigger and solid.

They can make safe buildings now for people to live.

Buildings now are much taller, stronger and safer from earthquake.

They use environmental friendly materials.

The similarities are:

They need the same basic building components (foundation, columns, beams and slabs).

Both need calculation to make sure the buildings are strong.

The differences are:

They need different materials to make those 4 basic building components.

Concrete building can stand longer during fire than steel building.

They have different hypothesis.

The buildings must be flexible enough but not too stiff.

They have to make buildings safer, stronger, cheaper and environmental friendly.
They have to think smartly to use recycled materials so there is no waste
Inventors work in laboratories but engineers work in real applications.
